WIDE 2 BEDROOM SEMI ON LEVEL 348 SQM CORNER BLOCK

When you think of a semi you typically imagine "side by side", but here's one with an exciting difference that offers wonderful scope to create something special. From the front this one looks like a very wide (over 15m) freestanding home, but it's actually joined to its neighbour at the back, yet still provides all the sundrenched north-garden area that the generous 348 sqm site allows. It's double-fronted and in quite comfortable order as-is, yet with fantastic potential for your innovative refurbishment and perhaps a second-storey extension (stca) to create a fabulous family home in a peaceful yet superbly convenient location where future capital appreciation is assured. So handy to beautiful parklands, schools, transport and the vibrant retail/commercial centre at Maroubra Junction.

Suburb Guide

Maroubra

One beach south along the coast from Coogee, Maroubra is quieter and less densely populated than its neighbour Bondi. Its beachfront promenade sports only a few cafes, rather than a hectic waterfront strip, and its laidback, down-to-earth atmosphere is favoured by families.

Highlighting its rapid development in the 1920s, classic California bungalows and solid brick homes are the most common in the area. The '60s and '70s saw the construction of numerous apartments, with many exclusive residences springing up, reflecting the area's increasing stature.

While the beachfront is not nearly as developed as other Eastern Suburbs beaches, its white sands and renowned surf breaks prove attraction enough. Its main shopping hub, Maroubra Junction, is located along with main artery of Anzac Parade, which contains a large shopping complex with all amenities, eclectic eateries and a host of sporting clubs and facilities, highlighting the active nature of its residents.

Located 10 km south of the CBD, Maroubra is well serviced by schools and transport, with a campus of the University of New South Wales located nearby.
